WHAT THIS PRIVACY STATEMENT COVERS
This Privacy Statement covers the Site. While you may encounter links on the Site to other websites, such as those relating to our third party sponsors, advertisers, and other partners, please note that these websites are not covered by this Privacy Statement.
This Privacy Statement does not apply to the activities of third party sponsors, advertisers, and other partners that may collect your user information while accessing or using such third party’s services in connection with your use of our Site (e.g. social media and sharing services). The privacy and information practices of those third parties are not covered by this Privacy Statement. To learn more about such third party policies, we encourage you to read and review the privacy statements of each third party service that you may choose to use in connection with the Site. This Privacy Statement applies only to information collected by us.
WHAT INFORMATION IS COLLECTED
FUNDS2ORGS collects data from Internet users including non-personally identifiable information from its site’s visitors, IP address of their server and what pages they visited. We use this information to continuously improve our site’s functionality. FUNDS2ORGS also collects personally identifiable information, including e-mail addresses, from those visitors who opt-in to receive some information from us, make inquiries or comments. We use this information to directly respond to visitors’ communications. If a customer joins our online marketing program, they typically submit some personally identifiable information to participate in this program.
FUNDS2ORGS collects personally identifiable information from those who register on our website or donate through on online system. Such information includes name, address, and billing information. We use this information only to receive payments for the use in donating footwear around the world. We also may collect information regarding your use of our services. We may use this and your personally identifiable information to compile general information about our visitors and our services so that we may improve the services we offer. We may create reports based on that information to share with our staff, but these reports never contain any personally identifiable information. For example, we might determine from all of our data that there are certain days that are better to send emails as part of an email campaign.
Your information is stored on FUNDS2ORGS servers located in the United States. We use industry standard physical, electronic, and organizational safeguards to protect your user information against loss or theft as well as unauthorized access and disclosure to protect your privacy. We treat data as an asset that must be protected against loss and unauthorized access. We employ many different security techniques to protect such data from unauthorized access by users inside and outside the company.
Keeping your personal information secure is a top priority for us. Therefore, FUNDS2ORGS utilizes 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, the industry’s leading data security solutions, and has implemented policies and procedures to ensure the physical and electronic security of data stored by FUNDS2ORGS. FUNDS2ORGS employs permission-based marketing principles: it requires its staff to communicate only to users who affirmatively express an interest in receiving e-mails. Permission to receive e-mails may be granted and taken away; in other words customers may “opt-in” and “opt-out”. If a visitor chooses to opt-out, FUNDS2ORGS is required to stop sending messages to that customer. FUNDS2ORGS puts a high value on a visitor’s ability to discontinue receiving unwanted e-mail.
However, “perfect security” does not exist on the Internet. If you are concerned that your privacy may have been breached, please contact us as provided below.
