  • 45 percent of users are between the ages of 18 and 24.
  • Snapchat users under the age of 25 are on the platform daily for 40 minutes.

As you know, all the social media platforms demand authenticity. And Snapchat’s no different. As a result, one of the best things to do is approach this platform with your unique brand personality. Consider it an opportunity for real-time marketing and a great chance to have people follow your brand. In our experience, people on Snapchat enjoy getting to know our team. And they also like to take a peek behind the scenes in our office environment. In doing so, you build relationships and they get to know who you, beyond merely your brand logo.

Authenticity Matters on Social Media

Slick videos about your cause have a time and a place, but it’s not usually on social media, especially Snapchat. Snapchat users want to engage with their friends primarily. Moreover, the platforms about having a good time and fun. So, if you choose to have a presence on Snapchat, it’s vital to create exciting ways to deliver your message. And yes, that’s a true statement even if you tackle a serious mission. Remember, the use of humor, if done correctly, can capture attention and sometimes bring a little levity to tough issues.

And even do some of the silly things others do. Remember, it’s essential to engage with your audience in ways they find relevant.
