About Kristy

Marketing That Connects. Impact That Lasts.

Kristy Fontelera-Morris is a creative-first marketer with more than 13 years of experience building purpose-driven brands across industries ranging from hospitality and fashion to nonprofit and social impact. As a creative consultant and fractional CMO for mission-driven organizations, she leads global campaigns, designs brand experiences, and develops marketing that doesn’t just convert—it connects.

For the past seven years with Funds2Orgs, Kristy has spearheaded marketing initiatives that have helped thousands of nonprofits and community groups raise funds through shoe drive campaigns. From building SEO-rich content strategies and digital funnels to shaping national advertising and creative direction, she transformed the way the company engages with schools, churches, animal rescues, and civic organizations. Her leadership elevated brand visibility and empowered local groups to raise millions collectively—all while advancing sustainability by keeping shoes out of landfills and supporting global micro-enterprises.

Today, Kristy’s work spans signature initiatives like Sneakers4Good, where she partners with sustainability leaders such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Boston Athletic Association to give sneakers a second life while creating measurable impact. She is also a contributing author for NonProfit PRO, where she writes the monthly column Marketing IRL—a no-fluff resource for changemakers who want smarter marketing and impact that lasts.

What sets Kristy apart is her ability to blend agency-level strategy with hands-on execution, bringing a storyteller’s intuition and a CMO’s mindset to every project. Whether curating brand activations, designing campaigns, or helping nonprofits show up with purpose and personality, her focus is always on marketing that matters.

When she’s not leading creative teams or writing her column, you can find her traveling the globe, hosting dinner parties, or blasting Fleetwood Mac with her two dogs at her side.
